![]() ![]() Next to your user account you can find the on-off button that allows you to shutdown the computer: You can also see an icon for the user account you logged on, giving you some actions when you click on it: You can pin, unpin or even resize the tiles. If you thin that you need the Windows 8.x Start screen, you have to enable it through the Taskbar options: The good thing here is that you can still benefit from the Live Tiles and get the information that you need, just like in the Windows 8.x Start screen: You can resize the Start menu and you can pin Modern apps as you like. You cannot see the Start screen, even if you press the Start button: in the screenshot above you can see the new Start menu, a combination of old Start menu, but now includes some modern Windows 8.x apps. As soon as you log on you go directly to the desktop. The first thing that you notice if you install it on a no-touch laptop is that there is no Start screen by default. I’m using it for some hours and I’m writing this blog post inside Windows 10, so I can say that is a stable version (at least till now). Some bugs are expected, however since I’ve installed it, everything seems to run smoothly. I would like to start using it, although this is the Technical Preview version.
